Join our Finance team in a broad, hands-on graduate role where you will build practical accounting capability and a strong understanding of how the numbers connect to the wider business.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will gain exposure across management accounts, tax and compliance, payroll, cash management and audit support, while working closely with people across Tumu Timbers.

What you will do:

• Assist with management accounts, month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support tax, statutory compliance and annual audit requirements.
• Assist with payroll, cash management and accounts payable as required.
• Investigate variances and issues, and help turn financial information into useful business insights.
• Support the wider Finance team and contribute to continuous improvement.

What you will bring:

• An accounting degree and a genuine desire to build your accounting career.
• Quick thinking, strong problem-solving skills and commercial curiosity.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build constructive relationships across the business.
• High computer literacy, strong Excel skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Initiative, curiosity and a willingness to learn and take on a broad range of tasks.
• A desire to work towards Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification would be an advantage.
