Timber Processing Workers

Are you interested in machine operation, timber processing or similar?  We are seeking candidates to join our Timber Processing team. These hands-on roles will require you to work within a team to stack, strap, label product, to achieve production targets and maintain quality outputs.

Tumu Timbers Ltd is a progressive Hawkes Bay timber processing business, locally owned and operated. Our team culture is positive and enthusiastic with an emphasis on Health and Safety, Quality and Customer Service.  We are based in Longlands, Hastings.

We have dayshift and nightshift positions available with the following hours of work:

Dayshift: Monday to Friday, 5am – 3.30pm

Nightshift:  Monday to Thursday, 3.30pm – 2.30am; Friday 3.30pm – 12.00am

To be considered for these roles you need:

• A proven record of reliability and attendance at work
• To enjoy physical work and be able to do lifting/manual handling
• A have a good attitude and keenness to learn
• To be health and safety focused
• To enjoy working in a team and have good communication skills
