Forklift Drivers - Nightshift

Are you a certified Forklift Driver with experience working in a manufacturing or warehousing environment?  Due to continued expansion and workload, we have opportunities in our team at Tumu Timbers in Longlands, Hastings.

The roles will include loading truck and trailer units with pallets, bins and timber products, and servicing machine centres using a 3-tonne forklift often with Cascade double pallet handlers.

Tumu Timbers Ltd is a locally owned and operated timber processing business. Our team culture is positive and enthusiastic with an emphasis on Health and Safety, Quality and Customer Service.

Our hours of work are Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week working night shift.  Indicative shift times are as follows:

Monday - Thursday:    3:30pm – 2:30am

Friday: 3.30pm – 12.00am

To be considered you will need to have a minimum of three years’ experience as a Forklift operator within a manufacturing or wood processing environment, sawmill, or similar.

We are seeking candidates who:

• Have a Restricted Drivers’ License
• Current Forklift Certificate
• Experience loading trucks.
• Experience driving forklifts with double pallet handlers (preferred)

You will also need to have:

• The ability to work safely within a fast-paced environment
• A track record of excellent punctuality and attendance
• Good communication skills and a motivated attitude

An indicative pay range for these roles is $26.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience.
